Why use a dog walker?

Why would I need a dog walker?
That’s a good question!
There are many reasons someone may need or use a dog walker.

  • You may be physically unable to walk your dog.
Whether a permanent or temporary situation, if you’re unwell or physically unable to walk your dog, it is good to know you have someone who you can trust to regularly provide your dog with walks (plus it means they’ll come home tired out and ready for cuddles!).

  • You work long hours.
It can make you feel super guilty working long hours, knowing your dog is at home alone. We’ve been there ourselves! However, having a dog walker provide walks or comfort breaks whilst you’re at work gives you peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, had a toilet break and a fun time going for a walk.

  • You have a dog that requires a lot of exercise.
Some breeds such as spaniels, collies or terriers, require a lot of exercise and stimulation to fulfil their needs. This can be difficult to achieve between working and fitting in general life. Therefore, it can be beneficial to have a dog walker who can provide that extra amount of exercise and stimulation your dog needs to keep them happy and healthy.

  • Circumstances change!
Circumstances and situations change, maybe when you first had your dog you worked different hours, had no kids etc. It can be difficult to fit everything in, and sometimes it ends up that your dog just isn’t able to have the same length or frequency of walks as they used to. These things happen, and that's what dog walkers are for! We help give you one less thing to have to squeeze into your day!

There are lots of reasons you may need a dog walker, and you may need one every day, a few times a week or just as and when!

We provide dog walks for 30 minutes or an hour, and these can either be solo walks or paired with another dog we deem a good match for yours (this is only with both owners permission), and can do so on a regular basis or ad hoc!
